5000RC Dynamic Duo

My 5,000th brush had to be special, but I wasn't sure how to approach it. So, I made a couple of really nice blanks and decided that one of them would get a solid bronze, threaded ferrule and would be brush 5k. 

Eventually, I realized that a threaded ferrule meant BOTH of those blanks could be brush 5k!

The bronze ferrule was drilled and threaded by a local machinist, then turned to shape by me. The handles are both dyed ash burl hybrids with five flutes, and a threaded insert that allows you to swap the ferrule. They are also weighted, to help balance the otherwise top-heavy bronze ferrule.
