C&H x Briar Brushworks Drop: 2025-06-10

I'm excited to announce the latest C&H x Briar Brushworks collaboration! I'll be dropping five collaborative brushes, five Briar Brushworks brushes, and one razor. They will go live at 5 p.m., Central Time, on Tuesday, June 10. 

Jon Hegedus of Briar Brushworks has always been one of my favorite brush makers. He makes some of the most beautiful, unique brushes available anywhere. His stunning pieces are crafted from briar root burl, a traditional pipe making material. They are carefully shaped, sanded, dyed and finished in ways that really highlight the intrinsic beauty of the wood. The shapes range from organic to geometric, but they are bizarrely ergonomic. His contributions to the drop are undeniably his own.

For our collab, he provided me with some gorgeous briar root. I paired them with some lovely green and black ebonite ferrules (another traditional pipe making material), added inlays and mosaic pins, and turned them to shape. I then sent them back to Jon to be dyed and finished, and he sent them back to me to be set with v27 Fanchurians, and listed on the site. I think they are stunning; take a look for yourself.
