About C&H

I'm Rob and I like to make stuff.

I am a craftsman based in Alexander, Arkansas - just a few miles from the geographic center of the state. I've got a wife and two kids and a dog or three. I studied Graphic Design in college and worked as a web/graphic designer for about 15 years, before I left my job in October of 2019 to focus on growing my company. Currently, my primary focus is on making shave brushes and razors for the wet shaving community, though I hope to grow and branch out over the coming months.

Your store is always empty. Why can't I find your brushes?

I know the way I do things seems kind of weird to the uninitiated, but it's the most fair way I have found to offer my products. Every couple of weeks, I post a batch of 10 - 20 shave brushes, razors or whatever at a set time. They sell on a first-come-first-served basis - and they go fast.

I saw a brush on Instagram and I want it... Can I buy it now?

Nope. I don't sell outside of my drops. If I post something to social media and it isn't in my drop, I get nasty letters (well, emails... it's not 1928).

Can I get on your wait list?

Nope. There is no wait list. Sorry, that's not how I work.

Can you make a custom brush for me?

Nope. I take suggestions, but not requests. I have tried custom work in the past and didn't enjoy it. There was a lot to keep track of and I regretted it every time.

If you have a really great idea, I want to hear it. I know a bunch of guys out there that do custom work. I'd be glad to point you to the artisan I feel would best fulfill your request.

Why do you only offer one knot?

I used to offer 10 knot options. That became cumbersome and expensive for me to maintain. I decided to streamline things by selecting my best-selling, highest-quality knot as my only knot option going forward.

Do you ship internationally?

I love shipping internationally, but I can't ship certain things - like aftershaves that contain alcohol. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Do you accept returns?

I warranty my work from any flaws in workmanship or materials. If there is a material defect with my work, I will do my best to make things right, including a full or partial refund. I will even pay the cost of return shipping if necessary.

I don't accept exchanges or cancellations, but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
