C&H Partners with Local Non-Profit for Brush 4K Raffle

There will be no drop next week, instead I am excited to announce that I am raffling off Brush 4K!

This is a very special collection of traditional shaving gear! The ensemble is built around Chisel & Hound’s brush #4,000, and I pulled out all of the stops when making it. The wood is amazing live-edge cherry, cast in resin that is colored with marble dust from the studio of stone sculptor Sebastian Mortarana. The brush is set with a v19 Fanchurian badger knot - widely regarded as the very best iteration of the Fanchurian lineup. I used the same combination of materials to craft a lather bowl, razor handle and stand.

The razor head is a stainless steel Drakkant, provided by Aylsworth Razors. It’s a phenomenal shaver and his donation is greatly appreciated.

The bundle also includes a suite of Haverford bath and shave products (bath soap, shave soap, aftershave balm, and aftershave splash) that were donated by Arkansas’ own Stirling Soap Company.

Enter to win at RallyUp!

The raffle is open until 5 p.m., Central Time, on Tuesday, November 10. The drawing will be automated by RallyUp at 6 p.m. the same day. US Residents only.

This all-inclusive bundle is being raffled to benefit The CALL, a non-profit organization that seeks to serve foster and adoptive families, and the children those families care for.

When a foster family gets “the call” in the middle of the night, asking if they can take an emergency placement of child, they can reach out to The Call for assistance with clothing, bedding, diapers, and whatever else they may need to provide a safe, loving place for the child.

The CALL mobilizes local churches to serve local children and youth placed in foster care. They partner with the Division of Children and Family Services to recruit, train and support foster and adoptive families for children and teens in foster care. Our hope is to see a day where there are no children in Arkansas waiting for families, because what children and youth in foster care need most is a family to care for them as they heal from abuse or neglect.
